Dawkins is born
He was born in the capital and largest city of Kenya, Nairobi. His father was an agricutural civil servant at the time, he is of English descent. -

At 8 years of age Dawkins moves to Britian, his fathers homeland -
Oundle school
In 1954 Dawkins started attending Oundle public school until the year of 1959. It was church based public school. -
Change in view
Dawkins converts from his fathers faith "Anglicanism" to the idea of atheistic evolution. He believes that this theory is much more logical. -
zoology studies
Richard startes to study zoology at Balliol College in Oxford. He was tutored by Noble prize winner Nikolaas Tinbergen. -
Dawkins gets his first degress
He continues to study under Tinbergen until he gets his Masters of Arts and Doctor of Philosphy. for the next year afer he remained a research assistant. -
