At the age of 5, Darren began taking violin lessons and was classically trained for 15 years. -

Darren Criss and several of his friends from Michigan, founded and developed the group StarKid Productions- where they put on self produced plays and perform them. -

Darren released his EP called Human. He wrote all the songs and prodcued the CD himself. It reached #17 on the Billboard Top Hotseekers Chart. -
