The event takes place in New York City and started in 1945. The event is important to history because they have kept peace in Europe for 72 years. The United Nations impacted economy because it helps third world countries with their economy and schooling.

There were millions of babies born from 1945-1955. This happened in the United States of America. The baby boom impacted economy because it cause families to buy more and more supplies for their babies.

We stopped anymore missiles from going to Cuba, we took our missiles out of Turkey, and the USSR took theirs out of Cuba. The event was important to history because it was the closest the world has ever been to full scale nuclear war. The Cuban Missile Crisis affected society because the public was terrified of getting nuked.

The event took place in Washington D.C. in the Watergate building on June 17, 1972. The event was important to history because it caused the only time a U.S. President has resigned from office. Watergate affected politics because it brought a new president into office. The new president was Gerald Ford.

Jimmy Carter impacted society because he stopped a lot of athletes from going to the Olympics. Most of the athletes missed their only chance because they got too old to participate.

The event was important because it was the first time we had ever tried to send a civilian to space. The Challenger explosion affected society because millions of people watched it explode on TV.
