This was important because it started TV advertisement and made more money for companies. This event impacted society because more people spent time watching TV.

    The Cold War involved the U.S. vs. the U.S.S.R.. Cold war is a state of tension between two countries without actually fighting. The U.S. joined NATO. In Berlin there was a wall put up to separate between U.S.S.R. and freedom. This is important to history because a very big war could've happened right after another big war. This impacted politics because people would vote for people that would be good in war. Also, people were worried about something happening that could start a war.

    Truman Doctrine/ Marshall Plan
    The Truman Doctrine was setup by Harry S. Truman and the Marshal plan by George Marshall. The Truman Doctrine was $400 million in military aid to Greece and Turkey to stop communism. The Marshal plan was to give $12 billion in aid to western Europe . These events took place in Greece, Turkey and Western Europe. This event is important in American history because of this Greece and Turkey didn't become communist and western Europe was rebuilt. This impacted economy because we gave away money.

From there he went to UCLA and lettered in 4 sports and than got drafted to the army. After this he played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and became the first African American MLB player. This event was important to Society because it was inspirational for many people and showed that people can do what they want with life.

This event took place on Friday, November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas during a parade. This event is important to history because he is one of four presidents to be assassinated. Also, 3 TV stations broadcast without interruption for 7 hours. This event affected politics because a president was assassinated and there was then there was a VP for president.

    Medicare was set up by Lyndon Johnson and Medicaid was set up by the SSA. Medicare is the government helping pay the hospital bills of citizens over the age of 65. Medicaid is the government to help people of low wages pay for medical bills. These were made in the U.S. in 1965 and 1966. This event was important to U.S. history because it is still around today and it helps many people. This impacted the U.S. society because people had help with their medical bills when they needed.

This was the U.S.'s biggest and most expensive investigation at this time.

This then meant they had more money to spend on other stuff.

Also it forced people into foreclosure. This impacted the economy because the U.S. didn't have any money and this led to people not having much money.
