  • Jefferson Davis becomes President of South.

    This is important because the south probably would not of won a battle without him. He controlled everything and told everybody what to do.
  • Abraham Lincoln is sworn into office for the North.

    This is important because the North would not of won the war without him. He controlled everything and told everybody what to do. He controlled the North.
  • South attacks Fort Sumpter.

    This is important because if the South never attacked there would of been no war. The Civil War begins on this battle.
  • Abraham Lincoln issues his proclamation for the North.

    This is important because he calls for 75,000 militiamen. Without all of them we would of had no chance in the civil war.
  • The seceding of the South.

    This is important because if they would not of seceded we would of not had a war. 11 states secede and they soon form the confederate states of america.
  • North Proclamation of Blockade.

    This is important because this Proclamation keeps the South from being well supplied against the industrialized North.
