This is important because if the South never attacked there would of been no war. The Civil War begins on this battle. -

This is important because he calls for 75,000 militiamen. Without all of them we would of had no chance in the civil war. -
The seceding of the South.
This is important because if they would not of seceded we would of not had a war. 11 states secede and they soon form the confederate states of america. -

This is important because this Proclamation keeps the South from being well supplied against the industrialized North.
