It is important because it was a major rebellion that had a historic signigfigance during the time. It was important because it led the slaves to another direction, and fleeing being treated like misfits. This can relate to peopling because its a movement of slaves trying to flee slave states, and become free at last.

It was importatn because it introduced popular soverignty, and it just impacted the Kansas-Nebraska Act. It relates to identity because it sees the people who were all apart of Bleeding Kansas all those years, and then how it impacted it as well.

    It was the election of 1860 which Lincoln was selected during a time which the Civil War was at hand so being president was Lincolns priority to set the record. It was important because Lincoln led the Union to success against the Confederacy, and further started becoming one of the greater presidents.
