    For chris's first real career he started as a professional rodeo bronco rider until he latter injured his arm. When he recovered he applied to the marines and his navy recruiter pushed him to join the seals but they rejected him for having pins in his arm. He then recived a letter for joining the Basic Underwater Demolition SEAL school (BUDS) and joined in 1999.
