There was a news article that said black men were assaulting white women. White men created a riot and killed dozens of black men and destroyed their property. -
John and Lugenia Hope
Lugenia Hope formed the Neighborhood Union which helped African Americans in the neighborhood. She realized the problems of African American's homes. She demanded for their lives to be better. -
Web DuBois
He was an African American that went to some of the most top schools. He studied with some famous people of his time and he soon taught at some of these colleges. -
Leo Frank Case
Leo Frank was the head of a pencil factory when a murder happened in the building. The case took half a year and Leo Frank was found guilty. -

This act was a New Deal act. It offered farmers subsides to increase crop prices and to limit specific crops. -

This was a New Deal program that helped save land and trees. They wanted to discipline people by getting them to do hard outdoor labor. -

He was a politician who ran for 3 terms for the state commissioner of agriculture. A lot of people loved him and a lot of people hate him. He was running for a 4th term, but he died before he got to office. -
