  • Preschool Recital

When I was 4 years old I was in my preschool recital. The recital was based on the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar and I played the watermelon. When we were walking off the stage towards the end of the show my dad called for me to look at the camera and I wasn't paying attention and walked right off the stage. I fell flat on my feet and was confused because I didn't know what was happening and I fell behind a sign so it was really dark. Everyone was confused because it looked like I disappeared
  • Trombone

    Trombone
When I was in 3rd grade I started to play the trombone. At first I only started playing because my friends were doing it but then I started having fun and I really liked it. I liked how in concert rehearsal you could hear every section coming together. What we learned in our private lessons expanded into something different. I played for 4 years and stopped before 7th grade but I wish I kept playing. I have a lot of good memories of making friends in band and don't regret taking it.

    when I got my dogs
When I was nine my mom said that we were going on a road trip. My mom kept getting phone calls from a breeder giving us directions. After six hours getting lost we made it to Syracuse. My mom said that because they helped us we were going to help them fold their laundry. We went inside the hotel and the woman placed a basket on a table. I pulled off the blanket that was over the basket and was surprised to see two puppies inside. My mom handed a puppy to me and my brother.
  • Jax

    Jax
My grandma was a quiet and assertive woman who didn't really play games but one day my mom brought her Jax and she got excited because she said she was good at it. She was trying to teach me how to play but I kept messing up. This was a memorable moment for me because since she spoke spanish and at the time I barely spoke any it always felt there was this barrier between us that we couldn't break and playing with her broke down the language barrier and it felt like we could understand each other
  • Starting archery

    Starting archery
The first time I did archery was in 2020 and I was with my dad and brother. I liked it and had fun so we started going every weekend and it became our thing. My brother and I don't really have anything in common so this gave us something that the three of us could all enjoy together. we tend to get really competitive and sometimes my dad would bet the person who gets the first bullseye of the day gets $20. This gave us something to talk about and connect with because we have different interests.
  • First family death

    First family death
A major loss in my life is when my grandfather died. I was very close to him and when he died it affected my entire family. Because he passed away my grandmother moved in with us because she can't live alone so we sold their house and moved her in. The hardest part was due to her bad memory she kept forgetting that he died so we had to keep reminding her. His loss impacted my family because he helped us in difficult times. This heavily impacted my life because this was my first major loss.
  • Vacation

    Vacation
My last vacation was to western rhode island. Rhode Island is my favorite place to go for vacation. This vacation was important to me because my parents are divorced and it's the first vacation my whole family has been on in 8 years. It was bittersweet because our last day I sprained my ankle and couldn't walk to the elevator. My dad had to wheel me up in a luggage cart and the hotel was like a maze so our room was far away. It was bad at the moment but now I find it funny and
    won't forget it.
