Marley visits Scrooge
Marley, a ghost visits a 70 year old greedy loner named Scrooge and told him about 3 spirits that will visit him. He warns him that he can escape death and having his fate.

Scrooge is a grumpy loner who hates being any sort of living organism.
"'I wish to be left alone,' said Scrooge." (Dickens 16)

Scrooged his finally happy and lightened up. He decides to go buy a turkey and give it to the Cratchit's even if they don't know who it is from. Scrooge even goes to church. -

Scrooge is out active, talking, giving, happy, and nice.

Scrooge is feeling so good and rejuvenated he decides to give Bob Crachit a pay raise. -
Foreshadowing Death
A spirit takes him to the future where Scrooge sees his death and nobody really cared. He wanted to make that different.
