Westwood stole some wheat and was sentence to six months in gaol. -

Westwood escape the gaol but recaptured and publicy recevied 50 lashes. -
When he escaped for good
On September 1840 he escaped for good and he was called jackey Jackey with Paddy Curran. They avoided being captured by hiding in the mountains. They both robbed Phillip Parker's house and Curran, temped to rape king's wife -
When he was captured
He was caught at a inn near Berrima and tried for robbery of firearms. -
The attack
He ordered the other convicts to keep their knieves and tins, on the 1st July Jackey Jackey led an attack in order to escape. -
Date of Death
Jackey Jackey was hanged and was buried in an unhollowed grave.
