-Discovered the first concept of what our solar system may be like

-This was important because we could use it to interpret what the solar system may be like -

Nicolaus Copernicus
-Also created a concept of the solar system
-Occurred between 1473-1543
-This would be important as it would be a lot closer to being accurate than Ptolemy's solar system and would lead to the discovery of way our solar system actually looks like. -

Tycho Brahe
- He discovered that the nova of 1572 was a star.
- This occurred in 1572 -This is important because he was using only simple astronomical instruments to discover things about space that others would not have been able to.

- This is important because this discovery would allow for us to know how the planets move and what causes them to move. -

- This occurred in 1686 -This discovery is important because without the three laws of motion we would not have been able to understand more about physics.
