Jacob's Typology part 1 (Date in BC)
In Genesis 28: 1-4, Isaac was giving blessings upon the younger son, Jacob, because he thought that he was Esau. As he was blessing Esau, it was like God blessing and speaking to Jesus after his baptism. In Mark 1:11, "And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you, I am well pleased.” The Spirit descended on Jesus like a dove. In both the OT and the NT, we can see that God and Abraham blessed their beloved son; it was like fathers showing love to their sons. -

Jerusalem - Jesus' Death
Jesus dies on the cross. It is just before 3:00 when Jesus, with a loud voice, cried out, "It is finished! Father, into your hands I commend my spirit." And when he had thus spoken, he bowed his head and gave up the life struggle; he was 4 months and 14 days short of 36 years of age. When the Roman centurion saw how Jesus died, he smote his breast and said: "This is indeed a righteous man; truly he must have been a Son of God." (https://truthbook.com/jesus/jesus-timeline) -

London - Rome establishes London
The Romans founded London about 50 AD. After they invaded Britain in 43 AD the Romans built a bridge across the Thames. They later decided it was an excellent place to build a port. The water was deep enough for ocean-going ships but it was far enough inland to be safe from Germanic raiders. Around 50 AD Roman merchants built a town by the bridge. So London was born. Moriah - Abraham almost sacrificing Isaac
When God told Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac, it was a way to examine and test the trust of Abraham in God. God wanted to show Abraham that he prepares for him and that faith is what he needs in order for God to proceed in his missions. God used Isaac's life to expand the nation that he intended for Abraham. The family line would eventually lead to Jesus, where he died on the cross for all of our sins. Because of him, we are able to redeem another relationship with God and receive Salvation. -

Hong Kong - Personal Reflection
The passage Genesis 27 reflects me the most. Genesis 27: 6 Rebekah said to her son Jacob, “Look, I overheard your father say to your brother Esau," Sometimes, whenever I want/take things the way I think works the best, I tend to ignore God's plan for me. I trust in myself more than God, just like what Rebekkah did. She wanted her younger son to be blessed with the blessing, so she took it the way she wanted it to turn out. However, God still fulfilled his mission through miraculous ways. He -

Sodom and Gomorrah destroyed
Sodom and Gomorrah, notoriously sinful cities in the biblical book of Genesis, destroyed by “sulfur and fire” because of their wickedness. Sodom and Gomorrah along with the cities of Admah, Zeboiim, and Zoar constituted the five “cities of the plain,” and they are referenced throughout both the Old and New Testaments and the Qurʾān.
