This event was important to us becasuse our state is named after George Washington. George Washington was well known because he was the first president in the United States -
Lewis and Clark expedition
This was important because they basicly were the first people to explore America. Without Lewis and Clark, we most likely wouldnt have discovered America till later. -

This event was important because this was a large trail dome of the settlers used quite often. The settlerls would use this trial mainly use this trail for fur trades. -
The treaty of Oregon
This event is important because this ended 28 years of joint occupancy of the Pacific Northwest. The reason why this was important because this set the boundry becasue it set the boundary between Brittish North America and the United States. -
The Whitman Massacre
The Whitman Massacre was important because it set a rivalry between the Indians and the Americans. This was mainly important to the Oregon country. -
Great Seattle Fire
I think this is important because this was one of seattles greatest devistation in Seattles history. Because of this event Seattle had to re build the city and thats how seattle got there population today. -
Klondike Gold rush
This event was important because this made alot of people go to America to find gold. This was another way America increased there population over the year. -
Boeing
This was important because Boeing is one of Washingtons biggest companies. Boeing is well know because it is one of the most famous companys for building planes. -

The Grand Coulee Dam was important to the pacific northwest because at the time it was built, it was the largest man made structure. -
The Seattle World Fair
This was very important to seattle because it gave seattle a place on the map. This was also important to seattle because it was also known too be very cultural and in a way changed peoples lives. -
Bill Gates/ Microsoft.
This event was important because without microsoft because without microsoft we wouldnt have computers which is one of the most used items in todays world. Not only would we not have computers, but Bill Gates has also spent alot of money on charity. -

This was important because because George W. Bush was know as one of Americas worst presidents. Because of George Bush, America has changed many thing since George Bush was elected.
