Invention of the Printing Press
In 1450, the printing press was invented by Johannes Guettenburg. The printing press had a major impact on the world because it made the development of documents, letters, or book easier and faster to produce. Instead of having to hand write mutiple copies of documents, they used the printing press. Around a year later, the printing press printed many different versions and languages of the Bible. -

Christopher Columbus discovers America
In 1492, Christopher Columbus set sail from Spain. He set sail with 3 ships, the Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa-Maria. When he began his jorney, he travled westward ending up in America instead of Asia. Because of Columbus and his journeys, many people were inspired to set sail and discover. -

95 theses was passed
The 95 theses was written by Martin Luther. It was a statement of dissagrements of the Catholic Church, one of them being selling indulgences and purgatory. This document led to many debates about the information listed in the 95 theses. -
The English Bill of Rights is passed
The English Bill of Rights was passed druing the Glorious Revolution, the longest and bloodiest revoluiton over religious rights. The English Bill of Rights stated many things including, all men have natural rights, a limited government, and the absolute monarch system came to a stop. The Bill of Rights was successful because many new laws were passed. Also, the English monarcy was changed from a limited to a constitutional monarchy. -
The Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party was one event of the American Revolution. In Boston, many colonists disguised themselves as Indians and dumped 342 chests of tea into the water. The colonists did this as a protest of the Tea Act which was passed in 1773. The Boston Tea Party was an important event because it marked the beginning of a revolution between America and Britain. -
The Continental Congress issues the Declaration of Independence
The Continental Congress was a group of delegates who got together from the 13 colonies. One of the delegates, Thomas Jefferson, wrote the Declaration of Independence which declared America's Independence from Britain. The Declaration of Indepenence is important because it states all the rights we have as a country and that everyone is created equally. -
The Committee of Public Safety is created
The Committee of Public Safety is a type of government that was created during the French Revolution and the "Reign of Terror." It helped protect revolutionaries agaist treasons and incounters, and to preserve the right of the people. The Committee of Public Safety was important because it gave safety to those during the French Revolution. -
The Civil War begins
The Civil War was a battle fought in America and was considered the bloodiest in America. The Civil War was fought between the Confederate and Union states. The Civil War eventually carved the way to Civil Rights. -
The start of World War I
During World War 1, Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Turkey fought against Great Britian, France, Russia, Bulgaria, the United States and Serbia. Because of World War 1, new war technologies were made and used. The war led to falls of dynasties in countries including Germany, Russia, Austria-Hungary, and Turkey. World War 1 was important becuase it led to World War 2 and it changed the way countries negotiated and made alliances with each other. -
World War II begins
World War 2 was between Germany, Austria, Italy, and Japan against England, Russia, the United States and Australia. World War 2 lasted a total of 6 years. Because there was over 40,000,000 deaths, this war became the bloodiest and longest war in history. World War 2 is important because it put a focus on human rights and ended depression across the world.
