Slavery was important because it became one of the most profitable trades for Europe. It also turns out to be one of the biggest parts of history in the US and other countries.

Cortés conquers Aztec Empire

This was important for a few reasons. One was that it showed that Spain was pretty much unstoppable against the natives. The other was disease. The Spaniards used disease as a weapon against the Aztecs, which will end up killing off more than they could ever imagine.

Pizarro conquers Incan Empire

This helped show just how brutal the Spaniards were, especially by Atahuallpa's death.

English found Jamestown

This was important because it was the first large settlement in America.

The founding of Plymouth was important for a few reasons
1) It was one of the first English colonies in America
2) It was a large group of people
3) They were different, they weren't explorers, just ordinary people looking for a place to go

French and Indian War ends
