On April 12th 1861 the Union won the civil war. If the Union did not win today we might have Aferican Americans as slaves. -

On October 5, 1905 Wilbur made a spectacular flight in which he circled the field 30 times in 39 minutes for a total distance of 24 1/2 miles. This is a very important time in US history because if we didn't have the air plane people would have to travel in a car or walk and would take more time. -

This was very important in US history because it made boat makers rethink their design and improve more and more ideas about ships or boats. Also the titanic killed many people in its voyage. -

On May 1st 1942 it was pronounced that Adolf Hitler died. Also on May 1st 2011 Osama Bin Laten was also pronounced that he died. This an important time because he killed many people. -

This war lasted 19 years. It was a great momant in US history because it ended. After the years years of war it came to a end and soldiers could go back to the family. -

Neil Armstrong was the first person to walk on the moon in 1969. The trip was traved in a space ship called the Apollo 11. This was amazing for people to see because no one would ever think for a person to walk on the moon. -

Osama Bin Laden was killed
When Osama Bin Laden died it was pronounced May 1st 2011. Also on May 1st 1945 it was pronounced that Adolf Hitler died that same date. Osama Bin Ladan killed many people and was apart of al-Quaeda. -
September 11, 2001
9/11 was so important to US history because it killed many lives. There were four planes, one hit the twin, the second plane hit the second twin tower, the third hit the pentagon in Washington D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a open feild in Pennsylvania. This left a scar on US history.
