Founding of Virgina
I'm not sure on the exact day and month but, Virgina was the first state to be established in 1607 it is the begining of the foundation of America. Without Virgina being founded there wouldn't be America. -
Sugar Act
British put taxes on sugar which caused the boston tea party. Without this event the Boston Tea Party would have never happened. -
Stamp Act
British put a tax on stamps to put on documents for the American colonies. Without this event we would not have revolted against the British. It does not give me a specific date so i made one up. -
Colonial boycott of British Goods
Colonial America boycotts goods from Great Britian. Without this event the war may have never happened. -
American Revolution
Start of the American Revolution. Without the American Revolution we would probably still be under British rule. -
Battles of Lexington and Concord
First battles of the Revolutionary War. Without this event the war may not have happened at all. -
Battle of Saratoga
The turning point of the war. Without this event we may have lost the war. -
Battle of Yorktown
Last battle of the Revolutionary War. Without this event I believe that the war would have never ended -
Treaty of Paris
Formally ended the revolutionary war. Without this event the war would have ended later. -
U.S. Constitution Signed
U.S. Constitution was the document that we are governed by. Without this event America would not be the same. -
Federalist Papers
Papers that supported the ratification of the Constitution. Without this event the Constitiution might not have ever been ratitfied -
Missouri Compromise
Allowed Missouri into the uninon. Without this event the civil war would have happened sooner. -
Nullification Crisis
A sectional crisis during the presidency of Andrew Jackson. Without this event Andrew Jackson may not have been president. It did not give a specific date. -
Kansas Nebraska Act
Allowed settelment of the territories of Kansas and Nebraska. Without this act Kansas or Nebraska would not be states. -
Civil War
American Civil War begins, without the civil war we would probly still be seperated between the North and the South and slavery would still be around. -
Emancipation Proclamation
Abraham Lincon gave all slaves they're freedom. Without this event we would probly still have slaves. -
Murder of Lincoln
Lincoln was murdered by John Booth while watching a play in Washington D.C. Without this event history would not be the same because of the fact that Lincoln would have done many more things as president.
