    The Battle at Fort Sumter began when general Anderson moved his men to Fort Smuter, and refused to surrender the Fort. The next day Fort Sumter was attack and the Civil War lasted for 34 hours in which after general Anderson had to surrender because he was low on ammunition and other supplies for a battle.

    The Battle of Gettysburg was started when comander Lee tried to invade nothern land. Commander Meade heared of Lee's movement and moved his men to where Lee had his men located. The battle then begun and lasted for three days and many of both sides of the soilders were killed, wounded, or missing. After the battle President Lincoln made a ceromony to honor the Union soliders.

    The Thirteenth Amendment states that salvery nor involutary servitude should be allowed unless if being used the act of punishment for a crime. It was passed January 31, 1865 by congress and was ratified by states in December 6, 1865

    The Surrender at Appoxmattox was a meeting held in Appomattox Court House, Virginia, in which 16 people were belivied to have attended. The meeting was held for the discusion of the model that would be used for all other surrenders.
