While some saw this as playful and silly, those who participated thought it to be great fun and really raised their spirits. The texas Infantry launched an attack on there neighboring states and eventually took them over forming one huge snowball brigade. After awhile they had defeated the whole Confederacy

Battle of the WildernessThis is General Grant's first battle in his Overland campaign against General Lee. This was a very bloody battle and the Stonewall Brigade fought valiantly, losing many men. On May 7th Grant disengaged. Shortly after this happends, the nect bloody battle will commence, the battle of Spotslvania.

Fort DelawareJohn Garibaldi was captured for a second time at the Spotslyvania courthouse where he returned to Fort Delaware and was then exchanged on October 30th, 1864.

Battle of SpotsylvaniaThis was a battle that General Lee commanded. It was General Grants second battle in his Overland campaign. Shortly after this the Stonewall Brigade disbanded.
