    The Declaration of Independence is a statement freeing the thirteen colonies from Great Britain. It was written by Thomas Jefferson and it summarizes the reasons why they wanted to be independent. This event is important because it shows the rights we want as a nation.

    The constitution is important because it establishes a government, our laws and our rights. It was written in order to create a perfect union for us.

    The Lewis and Clark expedition was a two year journey to explore the western portion of the United States. Their purpose was to explore the lousiana purchase and to establish trade with the native people. During their expedition they discovered plants and animals along with learning about the language and culture of many natives in the land.

Women back then didn’t have power but they realize they wanted it. They wanted the right to vote and decide. It wasn’t until 1920 that the 19th amendment was passes giving women this right.

Since then he had made his top priority to improve. This is significant because since 1876, thanks to his idea, technology has improved alot and know we have smart phone that help us communicate easily.

    On September 11th, 2001, Islamist terrorist hijacked four planes that were flying above the US. Two of them were flown into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York. The another two were crashed into the Pentagon, a top military building in the capital city, Washington DC. .
