    Black Death hits Europe

    It happened when 12 ships docked at Messina, Italy. The Black Death then spread from there. Most of the sailors on the ship were either dead or were about die. Over the next 5 years 20 million people died. This is important because it killed so much of Europe’s population and it go rid of the feudal system.

    Copernicus

    Copernicus helped developed the concept of the heliocentric solar system. This was that the planets revolved around the sun and not the Earth. He is important because the evidence that proves that the planets revolve around the sun is still around today even after hundreds of years.

    Christopher made his first voyage across the Atlantic ocean in 1492. He was trying to find a direct route to Asia, but while doing so he found the Americas. It was already inhabited by millions of people. This was important because it led way for transatlantic colonization and conquests. This eventually led the way for the U.S. to be born.

He used the printing press to spread all of his knowledge just like we use social media to spread ideas today.
