The Great Sphinx of Giza
One theory is that the Sphinx was built in 7000 B.C. It is made to look like the body of a lion and head of a king or god. In Egypt this symbolizes strength and wisdom. This is believed to have been built by the 4th Dynasty King Khafre. The nose was shot off by one of the Napoleon’s soldiers. The length of the entire Sphinx is 150 ft and the height is 66 ft. -
2630 BCE
Step Pyramid of Djoser
The first pyramid that has ever been built is Pyramid of Djoser. It can be found at Saqqara, northwest of Memphis. It was constructed in 2630 B.C - 2611 B.C. It took 19 years to get it done. It was built by Imhotep who was a vizier and would later be worshiped. This pyramid was built because the king of the 3rd Dynasty, King Djoser had died. The people of Egypt buried him in the pyramid. -

Cleopatra’s Birth
Cleopatra VII Thea Philopator is born around 69 B.C. She was born in Alexandria, Egypt. She was the daughter of King Ptolemy XII. Very little is known about Cleopatra’s mother but some theorize that she was her father's sister, Cleopatra V Tryphaena. -
51 BCE
Cleopatra’s Throne
In 51 B.C., Cleopatra’s father Ptolemy XII died, leaving the throne to her and her brother. She was 18-years-old at that time. Her brother’s name was Ptolemy XIII and he was 10-years-old. The two siblings had to marry because it was customary at that time. A little while after Cleopatra fled to Syria, where she gathered an army to defeat her brother, so she could declare the throne for herself. Eventually Ptolemy XIII fled away from Cleopatra and drowned in the Nile. -

Cleopatra Dies
In 30. B.C Antony, Cleopatra's lover, is falsely informed that Cleopatra has died. After hearing the news, the Roman leader, commits suicide by stabbing himself. Once Cleopatra has heard of this following her lover’s death, she gets bitten by an Egyptian cobra which ends her life. They are both buried together as they had hoped. -
My Birth
I was born on July 28, 2005 AD. I was born at 11:00 am at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. I had a height of 21 inches and a weight of 8.5 pounds. My grandmother named me Hana because it was a bible name which meant the mother of Maryam. In the picture I am there with my grandmother and next to me is my cousin with my other grandmother. -
My Brother's Birth
My brother was born on April 24, 2008. His name is Abel which is another bible name that my grandmother chose. He had a weight of 9.5 pounds and a height of 22.5 inches. Which is 1 inch and a half taller than me when I was born. When he was born I was 3 years old. I got to hold him in the hospital right after my parents. -
First Starting Dance
I first started dance when I was 5 years old which was in 2010 AD. I started with ballet and tumbling in my first year. I loved it then but in my second year since I wanted to try something knew I dropped it and decided to try tap and hip hop. Loved it so much that now I do them all which includes ballet, jazz, hip hop, and tap. In the picture it was recital night and i was in my tumbling costume with my best friend who was in her ballet costume. -
My First Vacation with Family
In 2014 A.D I had my first family vacation. All my cousins, aunts, uncles, grand parents came and we had a blast. I spent most of the time getting to know my older cousin Abigail. Now we have a very great friendship. In the picture that is me and Abbi playing around in the. This is one of my favorite pics. -
My First Day of School at SBA
My first day of school at SBA was in 2016. I was in 6th grade. I wanted to go to the SBA and it was my first choice to middle school and through a lottery I got in. I am lucky I got in because if I didn't I would have never meet all these great people.
