Cortes Defeat of Aztecs
In 1518, Cortes sailed from Cuba with men and horses. He sailed to Veracruz where he began traveling to the Aztec capital. Cortes took adavantage of an opportunity of Montezuma. Montezuma turned over gifts and treasures to Cortes. In 1520, Cortes captured the city. He discovered gold and treasures in the Aztec capital.

Bacon's Rebellion
In 1675, Nathaniel Bacon and his 1,000 men attacked the Native Americans. Nathaniel Bacon his men burned Jamestown. Their actions caused the government to flee. Bacon's rebellion stopped when he pased away from illness. The government hanged some of his men. Importance
