  • My Birthday

    My Birthday
I am the youngest and favorite child to Letitia Corral. She said I was the best present she had because her birthday is three days after mine. I was 7 lbs. 7 oz.
  • Moved to Mesa School District

When I was in second grade I moved to the Mesa School District. I left my babysitter who had babysat me since I was six weeks old. I attended Adams Elementary till sixth grade.
  • Bullying

I started getting bullied when I was in third grade. It was bad, and not a lot of my teachers did anything to help. But in sixth grade, I told my teacher what was happening and she put a stop to it immediately.
  • President Obama

I had the opportunity to see President Obama speak at ASU graduation. I was young so I can't really remember what he said. But I still remember the excitement I had.
  • Sea World

    Sea World
In sixth grade we took a a class trip to Sea World! I had my best friends in the group. I was my first time I had been to California. At the end of the school year, we all got a video that the teachers had made with pictures from the trip.
  • Dislocated Knee

I dislocated my knee for the first time, when I was a freshman. It was at school and I was running for student council. I have dislocated it two more times since.
  • Softball

    Softball
I started playing softball when I was seven years old. I started out a pitcher but the coach said my arm was strong so he put me at third base. It never failed, first at bat, first pitch, I got hit with the ball. I played until freshman year, but have decided to not play anymore because I'm not as good as the other girls.
  • Student Council

I was in Student Council my freshman year. It was a great experience and I've gotten better with talking to people though I'm still shy. I also am better with listening to other people's opinions. I made great friends. I was also able to visit New York as our trip.
  • Heartbreak

I have experienced my first true heart break. I found out my boyfriend was cheating on me. It's hard to deal with but I will get through it just like I get through everything else. It's just a lesson that will help me in the future.
  • Mental Health

Even though I had a good freshman year, I still had mental problems. I was hospitalized in the behavioral health hospital. I was diagnosed with severe depression, anxiety and a minor eating disorder. It was a tough time for me. But I got the help I needed. I still struggle, but I push through.
