iPod
My older brother got an iPod and would let me borrow it occasionally. I remember feeling really cool using earphones and then relaxing and listening to music by myself and not having anyone else hear it. It was also really cool to me, even though the screen was very small, I was able to watch movies on it as well. -
First Computer
I used computers for the first time in elementary school. I thought is was really cool every time I got to use it for different reading or typing games. I remember having computer time each week and we could earn more time if we earned enough points throughout the week/month. It was the best playing things like cool math games. -
Wii
My family got a Wii which was our first gaming system. Even though compared to now the image was very poor I really thought it was great being able to play games on our tv for the first time. To this day we sometimes will pull out the wii and hook it up to play the classic games. -
iPhone
The first iPhone came out and my parents got it. It was crazy at the time to have something so small with a touch screen and games on it in our own home. I was always so nervous to use it because I thought it was going to break at any little thing and being able to take pictures on it was really awesome. -
First Phone
I got my first phone for my birthday and it was one of my parents old iPhones. It was great being able to text and call friends for the first time. Looking back on that time I find it funny how amazing I thought it was when I was able to send texts for the first time. I still remember going to school for the first time and thinking it was so cool that I had to keep my phone in my backpack so I wouldn't get caught texting or anything.
