    Dawning of a New Beginning
I remember when Wi-Fi became more popular in homes compared to dial-up internet. It was when I was in 3rd grade and my mother started her job from home, answering questions online as an expert. During this time, I remember the sound of my mom’s old desktop taking 15 minutes to load up and she spent 20 minutes figuring out how to set-up Wi-Fi instead of Dial-up.

    The Kraze For The Raze
This is the moment I was in 5th grade and got my first phone. I remember asking my mom for a phone so that I could ask a girl to be my Valentine and be my girlfriend and the reason I asked for the phone was to talk to her on the phone since we could not hang out all the time. My mom surprised me with her old Razer phone and she got a new one. This was my introduction to technology, since we could not typically afford technological devices.

    3 Dimensions of Wow
I remember my first time ever seeing a 3-D movie, “Journey to the Center if the Earth”. We could not go to the movies due to being poverty stricken as a child, but I remember having to use the at-home 3-D glasses that were flimsy cardboard as we watched it on our DVD player from the pawn shop.

    The Apple of my Eye
This is when the iPhone 3GS came out and was the first of it’s kind. My parents got them when they came out and I could not believe my eyes. This was the first of it’s kind and was unbelievable to have an iPod mixed with a phone to call and text people and then go play a phone game other than Tetris.

  • The End of an Era

    The End of an Era
This links the last time I used the controversial website: LimeWire. I remember my parents asking me and my older brother to finish burning the last of our CD’s with a variety of songs. This was an important time in history, as it was the end of a period of time in which burning CD’s became obsolete with the rapid emergence of MP3 players and iPods.
