Narvez, in his raggedy state, took all his remaining men to the center of the Indian village, where he proceded to demand food shelter, and women. The Indians got so angry that they left Narvez and his men to starve. -

Esteban snuck away in the middle of the night with a canoe to join the Indians. Unfortunitly, he goes when a storm was brewing. He is lost at sea for seven days, but arrived at a Spanish outpost in Mexico. -
