Christopher Columbus went on this voyage to find a new and easier route to India/Asia. He found Native Americans, New World, and gold. His ships were named: Niña, Pinta, and the Santa Maria. Columbus' voyage was funded by the queen of Spain, Isabella. -

Cortes conquared Mexico. He conquared the Aztec tribe. It was important because he sparked the intrest of many oeioke to explore North and South America because he found so much gold. -

De Vaca discovers Texas
They had to re-build small boats to travel but they got caught in a gale and crash landed into Galveston, Texas. He was their for nine years. He met the Karnkawa, Coahiltecan, and Jumano tribes. -

Fray Marcos and Estaban Journey
They were supposed to study the land to the North Exvaluate. Estaban died during the journey. Fray Marcos said they saw a city of gold bigger than Mexico City. -

Coronado's Expidition
He searched for the Seven Cities of Cibola and Quivera. Turk was his guide to find Quivera, but he kept lying so they made a grave for him, killed him, and put him in there. He discovered Palo Duro Canyon, Aeizona, and the Grand Canyon. This journey was important because it made spanish exploration stop for 150 years.
