De Vaca Discovers Texas
De Vaca started an expidition in Florida with 300 men, but they got left and built 5 boats to try to return to Cuba. They got shipwrecked and landed on Galveston with only 80 survivers. He was here for 8 years. -

Fray Marcos and Esteban Journey
The purpose of their journey was to study the land to the north and evaluate. He ended up being killed by the Zuni for demanding food and women. On the other hand, Fray Marcos reports seeing the most beautiful grand and golden city. -

De Soto was the leader until he died and then Moscoso took over. They were searching for gold, since they liked to wear armor of gold the Indians thought they were god. Moscoso ened up giving the same report as Cornado. -

Coronado's Expidition
His goal was to find the 7 cities of gold for Spain, he was looking for Cibola and Quivera. When he reported back to Spain, he said not to go to Texas because the land offers nothing, there was no gold, and there were difficult Indians, so they don't send people to explore for 150 years.
