The French were being forced to pay the debt in France due to the seven years war and for the American revolution. Fought for equality

The aggressor was the French government against the French people (third estate).
Although it was successful in the long run as they ruled out monarchs, it was a “failure compared to the American revolution” -
Peninsulares v.s. Criollos
Criollos wanted to have the same amount of privilege as the peninsulares. As they both sold cocoa and coffee. They were fighting for equality
This occurred in Venezuela.
The aggressor was the peninsulares against the criollos as the victim.
The efforts were unsuccessful as there was more focus of ending slavery at the time against the mestizos. -

Miguel hidalgo y costilla
Miguel Hidalgo gathered the “mestizos” to rally against the Spanish oppression rule, main reasoning was taxation and nationalism and religion.
This occurred in Haiti Mexico.
The aggressor was the Spanish government against the victims mestizos.
The efforts were unsuccessful however these ideas motivated another resistance leading to Spain’s independence. -
The Ottoman Empire
The last sultan was exiled due to the young Turk revolution. Fighting for multi party politics and force out monarchs.
This occurred in Constantinople.

These efforts were successful because it led to the exile of the last sultan. -
Sun Yat-sen
Sun Yat-sen became the first president of the republic of China. As he overtook the Chinese government from emperors.
This occurred in China.
The efforts were successful for some time and motivated more Chinese leaders.
