Isaac Newton: 1642 - 1727

  • Publishes Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica

    In 1687 Sir Isaac Newton publishes his Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica or Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy. In this manifesto Newton explains his perception on time, space, place, and motion which eventually opens the door for Einstein's work on Special Relativity.
