They worked very hard every day for little pay. One day they decided to move to America to have a better life. Once I was born, I was babied becase I was the first born. They didn't want anything to happen to their little baby. Once I was old enough my parents made me work. They valued work and they didn't want me to become spoied.

    My Family's Life in America

  • Our Trip to America

When we moved from Italy, I was very young and I don't remember much from the trip. My parents told me it was extremely nervewracking since they left everything behind in Italy; even though they didn't have much. Once we arrived in Ellis Island we went through so many securtiy precautions. The disease exam, and citizenship, and then we could exchange money. After that, we were sent away; into our new lives
  • My Father First Job in America

After searching two long years my father finally found a good job that pays great. The only bad thing about it is one gust of wind and he's a goner. My father works on the skyscrapers. It is a very dangerous job and he risks his life every day. It's a scary feeling that you could be walking the streets one day and all of a sudden your dad just falls down from the sky and splatters right infront of you. I am praying that he will remain safe on his new job. We really need him around here.
  • My Dad Dies

I knew no amount of money could replace my dad, and i told him that. But he belived that the man of the family needed to provide for everybody, and he took that very seriously. He ended up paying his life for it. I'll miss him and im never going to forget him.
  • Civil War is Over!

  • Geronimo Surrenders

Geronimo was a leader of many Indian people. He was a good leader too. He belived his people deserved the best and that is a good mindset to have expecially if your a leader of many people. He wanted his people to have more land because his people were dying on the land that they already had. They needed more in order to survive and the Government would not let him have it. And they began hunting him down. And after 15 years of chasing Geronimo finally surrendered.
  • Wounded Knee Massacre

If you think about it, America's race is like a melting pot. We have all sourts of races living here: Japeneese, Vietnimeese, chineese, Scottish, Irish, German, Italian, African American, Brittish, and many more. But the one race of people that are actually native to America is the Native American people. We should treat them alot better than what we are now. It is absolutely mind-boggeling how we just killed 230 men women and childern at the Wounded Knee Massacre.
