    Mornings For My Family
When I was younger, my mother would put my clothes on for me and then go to get my little brother ready. By the time she finished getting herself ready, I would have already undressed, picked out my own outfit, then put my own clothes on. My mom still talks about it to this day. She makes it a point that I have always been a very independent person and I like doing things my way.
  • Brother was born

    Brother was born
Billy being born was the first life changing thing I have ever experienced. I was officially the middle child. Having siblings isn't unique or different from most people's lives but I don't think people fully understand how different it is being a middle child. I have an older sister, Amanda, and a little brother, Billy. I am glad I have the both of them in my life but it's definitely not fun being the middle child. I know the bad sides to having a younger/ older sibling.
  • House Fire

    House Fire
One hot summer day, my parents decided to take me and my sisters girl scout troops to Lake Compounce, an amusement park/ water park. We were having the time of our lives but went to stop and get drinks at the refreshment stand. Me and Amanda noticed our dad on the phone looking really upset. They told us it was time to go, so we all started towards the exit. My parents explained to me and amanda that a fire had started in our house. We were young and had no idea what was really going on that day
  • New House

    New House
After the fire, we lived in a rental house for a year, until our old house was rebuilt and we moved back in. This is the same house i live at today. It took years for my family to tell me how the house fire has even started. That day, after we had left the house for our adventure, my aunt decided to stand on the deck and smoke a cigarette. The cigarette ended up being thrown into a pot of moss and lighting my deck on fire. Nobody was hurt thankfully, but my family still feels the impact.
  • Broken Nose

It was Billy's 6th birthday and my whole family was in the living room while billy played with his new presents. He picked up an rc car that my dad had just given him and proceeded to pelt the car at my face. All hell broke loose. I was bleeding, billy was screaming, my parents were freaking out, and amanda was mortified. Definitely the most memorable birthdays in my house. I ended up in the emergency room with three stitches. A few weeks later i had to get my nose broken again and fixed.
  • Learning to ride the motorcycle

    Learning to ride the motorcycle
One day my dad decided to bring home a motorcycle for me and my sister. It was a small white bike with a captain america theme to it. I have never ridden a motorcycle before. I've always been scared of them after hearing about my dad's motorcycle accident, but my dad still told me to try. Riding wasn't as hard as i thought it would be, but id rather stick to four wheels. Quads have always been my go to. I would rather not ride motorcycles but i guess it is a good skill to have.
  • Mountains in Maine

    Mountains in Maine
One spontaneous trip to Maine turned into one of the most memorable weeks of my life. But the best part of the trip was hiking the Door and Ladder trail. The Ladder trail started with climbing ladders and hundreds of stairs up a mountain. We slowly made it to the top of that mountain and went right back down to the other side. The second mountain was Door mountain. The hike up we were all ready to go home but the view at the top was so rewarding. The hike was brutal but so worth it.
  • First Time Urban Exploring

    First Time Urban Exploring
My friend, Blake and I go to abandoned buildings all over New York and Connecticut and we take photos there. It started when i asked my dad to bring me to the Pines Hotel. I found out about this place online and it looked really cool so i wanted to go there. I found pictures of the resort before it closed down in 1998 and it looked very popular. When i was in the building, i saw chairs stabbed through walls, floors collapsed, windows broken, it was so different. It makes you think about change.
  • Dying Hair Green

    Dying Hair Green
One night I decided to dye my hair green. It turned out the way I wanted it to and i liked it. I woke up the next day and went to school anxious to hear peoples feedback. Instead of compliments, this time I got called names, I was made fun of, and I just wasn't being treated nicely by even my own friends. I ended up going home early, stripping the dye from my hair, and dying it blue. I had green hair for one day. One of my biggest regrets is letting people's stupid comments get to me.
