Today we arrived into the United States of America. My mother got seasick and was very dizzy. As we were making our way to the ships hull my mother looked over the rails and leaned in a little too far. Soon, she was in the water. By the time someone got to her she had already drowned. Now it is just my father, Shelton; my brothers Luke and Bryan and my little sister LauraLyn. My father now is a single dad and I have no idea how this will go. I am scared for my sister.

I have to watch LauraLyn and get all the goods we may need for the upcoming week. Benjamin works for Boss Tweed on the skyscrapers.
