I was born in Ireland. My parents named me Murphy Mccarthy. I was not very well known but i was lucky to be alive. My mother had me a month before i was due, and they were not prepared. So i was known as a miracle baby and i was always getting a lot of attention. -
Family dies
My family along with my village was infected with mosquitos. Each and every person in the village had died including my family except for my brother. My brother and i were all alone and we realized it was time to make our move. -
On the move
My little brother and I decide to move to Ellis Island in America as Irish Immigrants. On the way we hitch rides with other boat drivers. It was long and hard, but we eventually arrived in safe conitions. -
our Jobs
After passing the inspections we were officially immigrants in Ellis Island. We had nothing to do and no money so we got a job. Me and my brother both got jobs in in NYC as builders. We worked on skyscrapers and other buildings. We earned a lot of money. -
Money$
After 2 ears of working very hard on skysrapers, I as well as my brother have earned enough money to share a home in Ellis island together. It is not a very big house, but it is enough for us. -
A succesful immigrant
I am now living along with my brother, and we are wealthy adults with are own family. We can aford things and living a normal life. We are some of few succesful immigrants from Ireland to Ellis island.
