Exposure to Television
When I'm just a child, about 4-5 years old, every morning at about 8am, I get up to watch cartoon shows after the morning news broadcast. After that, we will turn it off and later turn it on at 3pm to watch afternoon dramas. The tv is running till 9pm. From that span of time, we are updated to every news and shows in our favorite channel -
My First Use of Computer and Social Media
This time, I'm about 7 years old. My sister brings me to the nearby computer renting shop every week. From that time, I'm always observing my sister and ask her to help me do what she was doing. My sister already had a Facebook account so I ask her to create an account for me. Although all I do that time is play games, it is still a great experience. -
Being Interested on Newspapers
Not long after that, I'm visiting the house of my other auntie in the neighborhood. There I find some newspapers that her husband buys every day. I became interested in their huge numbers that were stack-up in a corner. I get a piece on the surface and read it. from there, I found news that I commonly find on televisions and lots of things like horoscope, comic updates, and games like crossword and sudoku. From then on, I often visit their house to read and answer those puzzles. -
Exposure to Radio
Even when I was a child, I am fond of listening to music that was created before I am born in this world with the addition of OPM songs from different Filipino Bands. As I grow up and decided to learn an instrument, my love of listening to music became stronger. Every Sunday, the radio plays throwbacks songs which is my favorite and when there is no electricity, the radio is our means to be updated on the current happenings while relaxing our minds when it plays songs.
