Books are several pieces of paper, usually with words printed on them containing stories or poetry. I was born in the year 2005, but the time that I was exposed when I was 3 years old, my mother started reading me stories from books every night to fall asleep. Also, she taught me the basics to prepare me when I go to primary education. -
Newspaper, Television, and Radio
These media allows us to stay updated and to be aware of the news every day throughout the country. In 2009, before purchasing a television, my father usually bought a newspaper. When my father bought a television, I was so happy because I can watch cartoon movies on television for 4 years old. When the time that has a brownout, we can't use electronic devices, so my father used the radio to access the news without using electricity. -
Mobile Keypad
My mother have a keypad cellphone in 2010. Keypad phones are cell phones that have physical keypads on the device used for dialing a telephone number. I remember that I used it to play games such as Snake Game, etc. -
Digital Camera
When I was 6, my parents bought a digital camera to capture the memories that we made. Also, my family loves taking pictures every time we visit places so at this time I have an idea and exposure to how to use a digital camera or DigiCam. -
Tablet
My father gave a tablet to my brother as a gift on his 11th birthday. It was an android tablet and sometimes I borrow it to play a game that became popular now which is Subway Surfers. -
Digital Games
Digital game is any game that is something fun played on a digital device such as a computer or a cellphone. I was 8 when I started playing games through the websites, Friv.com and Y8.com which were popular websites at that time. It also contains different types and genres of games that are free to play. -
Computer
A computer is a machine that can be programmed to carry out sequences of arithmetic or logical operations automatically. During the time that I was exposed to and knew using computers when I was 9, my childhood friends taught me how to use them to play games to ease my boredom. -
Social Media Apps
In 2015, I created my account and started using it. It was easy for me to interact with my family, friends, and other people. Moreover, it is a collective term for websites and applications that focus on communication, interaction, and content-sharing. -
Cellphone
Cellphone is a portable usually cordless telephone for use in a cellular system. In 2016, my parents gave me a cellphone as a graduation gift at 11 years old. It was my first time owning a touchscreen cellphone so I was happy that time. -
Portable DVD Player
Portable DVD player is a mobile, battery-powered DVD player in the format of a mobile device. And I was 12 when I was exposed and I used it to rewatch my favorite cartoon movies, but also movies. -
Crunchyroll and Animepahe
In 2019, I started using and having exposure to these online platforms to watch anime (Japanese film and television animation) for entertainment and leisure. Crunchyroll is an American subscription video-on-demand over-the-top streaming service. Animepahe is a site where you can stream anime at no cost. It is a platform that is used for watching animation and films. -
Laptop
A laptop is a computer that is portable and suitable for use while traveling. When the pandemic appeared, online classes has been implemented in schools. Sometimes, I borrow a laptop from my brother to comply with schoolwork. -
Online Payment System and Learning Platforms
Online payment system is the online payment that allows you to pay money via the internet. The online learning platform is a webspace or portal for educational content and resources that offer a student everything they need in one place. During the pandemic, I also learned how to use online payment systems such as Gcash to buy loads that are used in the online class. Furthermore, online learning platforms like Google Drive, Google classroom, and other forms of learning materials online. -
Canva
Canva is a graphic design platform that is used to create social media graphics and presentations. I started using Canva in 2021, there are a lot of designs and templates that you can use for free when doing digital activities.
