My 10 significant events

  • My Birth and development.

    My Birth and development.
I was born at St. Agnus Hospital in White Plains at 7:59pm .Perfectly healthy, my mother said I adapted to the world pretty quickly, being able to crawl at 6 months and walk around 9 or 10 months. I began to talk near my 1st birthday. Although fairly small I took the world on by myself being interested and intrigued by anything and everything. Often mimicking my mother telling me to wait patiently, I'd tell her " I'm waiting passionately." I was very eager to start my life.
  • First day of Kindergarten

    First day of Kindergarten
The day started off with my first ever bus ride, and as we pulled up to this large building, all I was wondering was "When does my mom show up?". I was in Ms. Pucillo's afternoon kindergarten class. I ended up getting lost in the school and showing up late. The rest of my went uninterrupted until I thought it was a good idea to show off my red pen that had paint in it. Long story short, big blobs of red paint really do accent white shirts nicely.
  • Not being able to go on my favorite ride

Not being able to go on my favorite ride
I was finally tall enough to ride on the rollercoaster at the Danbury Fair. I did not hesitate to run up to the ride and insist that my mother should allow me to ride. After cutting nearly everyone on line, she still didn't let me ride and continued to tell me what I already knew about the dangers of this ride. So instead of making me feel better with cotton candy or at least SOMETHING, she decided to take a picture of me pouting. Great parenting.
  • Being the first student in my class who knew how to read

Being the first student in my class who knew how to read
I was in 1st grade and my mom bought me the Hungry Caterpillar book. I spent every night reading until I was able to read aloud by myself. I was only 5 at the time and my teacher then, Mrs. Flasz was so elated to have a student, being the youngest in the class who could read and pronounce the words so well. She let me read two books the entire class that day.
  • Becoming a girl scout

    Becoming a girl scout
I was probably around 8 or 9 when I registered in troop 1440 and began my adventure as a Brownie. I was in third grade and literally did not shut up about it. All I ever talked about was my meetings every other Wednesday. I sold way too many cookies that year and annoyed all of my neighbors. Every year after that no one wanted to buy cookies because I annoyed and drove all of them away!!!
  • Cheerleading!!!!

    Cheerleading!!!!
In 7th grade I became a cheerleader for the recreational team, obviously in Brewster. I really did think I was the ish.... but I wasn't. I made a bunch of friends that year that carried on into high school. I would classify that as my peak. Although I enjoyed the sport I didn't pursue it any further.
  • My grandmothers death

    My grandmothers death
I was at the mall with my mom and friend when I was given the news that my grandmother had died in her sleep. It took me a couple years to really process that she was gone. Her death impacted me greatly because she was always my best friend in life.
  • Meeting my boyfriend

    Meeting my boyfriend
I was at a football game my freshmen year and my friends abandoned me on the bleachers to get food, and Paul, my current boyfriend saw me standing alone. He stepped down from the sophomore section, leaving his friends to keep me company. Ultimately, my friends didn't return but he stood next to me and talked to me throughout the entire game. He ended up moving Florida that February, and we decided to give long distance a chance. We have been together for two and a half years.
  • My 14th birthday

    My 14th birthday
Me, being one of the youngest in my grade and having such a late birthday every birthday is extravagant or memorable. My mom planned a weekend getaway to Boston. Me being the history freak I am, on the way there my mom asked me if I'd like to stop in Salem.. yes the place where the witch trials were held!!!! I was beyond elated and I will never forget that weekend.
  • Getting my license

    Getting my license
I was almost positive I wasn't going to pass. I am a really good driver, according to my mom. But I also felt that my anxiety would take over and I would run someone over honestly. I was really prepared and waited exactly 6 months. On the day of the test, I was being extra nice to the instructor so she'd pass me on my attitude. I ended up passing with only 20 points taken off. I cried.
