  • Napolean

    Napolean took Lousiana back form New Spain and sold it to the United States, but Louisiana was origionally Mexico's territory.
  • "El gríto de Delores"

    Father Manuel Hidalgo called for Mexican independence from Spain in "el gríto de Delores" and this became Mexico's Independence Day.
  • Battle of San Juanito

    Texas declared its independence and won it at the Battle of San Jacinto.
  • Aztec Club

    Mexico City with General John A. Quitman, of Mississippi, as its first President.
  • End of Civil War

    United States sent troops to the border, the French withdrew and Maximilian is executed at Querétaro.
  • Mexican Revolution

  • Obregón overthrew and killed Carranza

  • Banking Crisis

    Mexican banking crisis. With U. S. aid the Mexican economy recovers.
