Conspiracies were forming. In Queretaro, was an organized conspiracy including several citizens to make a move at the end of 1810. The leader of this conspiracy was Miguel Hidalgo, and Ignacio Allende. The date was October 2 that was selected for the insurrection against Spain to begin. -

The leader was Miguel Hidalgo and it is the first stage of the Independence of Mexico. There was a lot of victories. However, he did not listen to Allende and the battle was prolonged for 10 years. -
September 13, 1810
Discovered that the supporters of the revolutionary movements were stockpiling weapons. They started to jail people. The conspiracy began to unravel. -
September 16, 1810
Hidalgo issues "El Grito de Dolores" and this became the start of the Mexican Independence Day. -
September 28, 1810
Approached Guanajuato and the battle of the Alhonidga de Granaditas occured. El Pipila was present in this battle and is now the hero in Guanajuato. -
October 30, 1810
Battle of Monte de la Cruces was one of the pivotal battles of the ealy independence. It took place between Mexico City and Toluca. -
January 1811
Calleja caught up with Allende and Hidalgo outside of Guanajuato. The two armies clashed. His army was captured by the Spanish. -
July 31, 1811
Hidalgo was exectued and shot by a fire squad. -

Plan de Iguala was proclaimed by Agustin de Iturbide and Vicente Guerrero. It was the final stage of Mexican Independence. -
September 1821
Mexican Independence ends. They gained independence.
