    I remember spending many hours a week making the perfect zoo. My brothers and I would all gather around the computer to build enclosures, put out garbage cans, and feed animals to make a successful zoo.

    I saved up my money for weeks to get a Tamagotchi. Everyone at Payson Middle School had one and we would 'sync' them to let our pets play with each other during lunch. Now that I have a teacher lens, I imagine these were to the level of annoyance of the fidget spinners of 2016.

    My CD case held only the CDs including Christina Aguilera, NSYNC, Britny Spears, and Rascal Flatts. My dad had a huge book that he would fill up before we would go on road trips.

    While in 2009 my friends were getting the Razr and Juke flip phones, I had the outdated 2008 Samsung flip phone. I was not allowed to text on it quite yet, but I felt so cool!

    Soon I got to upgrade to a cell phone that had a slide front to expose a full keyboard! I had just mastered the T9 keyboard, so ironically the full keyboard was rarely used.... I had 500 texts a month! Woo!

    This camera went everywhere with me my senior year of high school and freshman year of college. My cell phone did not have a camera, so this baby went with me in my purse along with my cellphone. Well I guess these were the days when my phone fit in my front pocket....

    This thing was awesome! My parents gave me a laptop for high school graduation so I could have one to take to BYU. I thought this was the best laptop ever, even its dense and heavy glory. It went with me all through college, through my first couple years of teaching, and half of my masters degree. I still have the laptop and it works! sort of..

    2013 was the year I finally joined all of my friends and got my first iPhone. I remember this was by sophomore year in college because at one point one of my friends took a picture of all of our friends using an iPhone except me!
