    In the early 1920s, the radio entered the educational system. Educational radio programs began in elementary and secondary learning environments (De Giorgi,2016). Lessons were delivered over radio broadcasting lasting a total of thirty to sixty minutes each. Students received instruction in American history and folk music and were engaged in dramatic presentations of legends and children's stories.

    Teaching Machine
    In 1954, the teaching machine was created by behavioral scientist BF. Skinner. The device and its recapitulations allowed learners to move through lessons at their pace. The students were asked a question and provided a reward that was typically motivated to correctly answer the questions.

    PLATO (Programmed Logic for Automatic Teaching Operations) was the first global computer-assisted instructional technology integrated into education. Although it ran on the University of Illinois computer system as early as 1960, it was not until the late 1970s that PLATO supported thousands of graphic terminals in distribution across the globe.

    1991 Interactive White Board
    Interactive Whiteboards commenced in the classroom environment in 1991 following the decisions by educational facilities, to begin with, the integration of technology into the curriculum daily. The Whiteboard was initially created as an LCD panel and a computer that ran integrated programs and was designed to operate as an extensive presentation television device.
