The initiative "Nutitund igasse kooli" ("Smart Lessons for Every School!") gathered more than 3200 narratives for lessons where ITC was used in teaching. In VET schools category a badge was given to Katrin Uurman and Räpina School of Horticulture. -

The Ministry of Rural Affairs has started the development of the "Agriculture and Fisheries Strategy 2030". On 24 April 2018, the working group on Science and Innovation and Knowledge transfer discussed about the current situation and future prospects. The representatives of schools of EUROPEA Estonian Network also attended the meeting. The work continued through year. -

The best students in the year 2018 in Estonia are Mairold Mänd and Erik Rüütli, alumnis of Räpina School of Horticulture. Mairold and Erik achieved 3rd rank in WorldSkills 2017, in Abu Dhabi in 15.-18.10 2017. -

Team Estonia participated in EUROPEA seminar in Rezt, Austria, student workshop "Alpine Farming" and competition 1st Cattle Judgement competition. Team Estonia won the competition.

Cooperation agreement
Estonian University of Life Sciences signed a cooperation agreement with all 4 EUROPEA Estonia schools (Järvamaa Vocational Training Centre, Luua Forestry School, Olustvere School of Service and Rural Economics and Räpina School of Horticulture). According to the agreement the university and EUROPEA schools will offer varied practical trainings to students, exchange know-how, deal with teachers and students exchange, also do joint trainings. -
