Early life
Abu Bakr was respected businessman, and he worked as a fabric merchant visiting Yemen and Syria. Abu Bakr Born(Intro)
Abu Bakr was born in 10/27/573 AD in Mecca, Abu Bakr died on Aug. 23, 634, in Medina, He was 60 years old. He was the first person to become Muslim and first caliph after prophet Muhammed's death. -

Jabal Thawr
Abu Bakr stayed in Jabal Thawr, which it is located 5 miles south of Mecca, after he and the prophet left Mecca. Abu Bakr got bit by a poisonous snake, and he stayed calm in order to not wake up Muhammad from his nap. Life in Medina
Abu Bakr purchased a piece of land in the medina for a high price. He constructed Al-Masjid al-Nabawi with the prophet. He married Habiba, a daughter of Khaarijah, and bought another house for his family when they arrived. -

Abu Bakr was part of the battle of Badr but he didn't fight in it, instead he guarded the prophet's tent during the war. The Muslims were outnumbered 313 vs 1000 and they managed to win. -

Battle of Uhud
He participated in the Battle of Uhud, in which the majority of the Muslims were routed and he was wounded himself. Abu Bakr was challenged by His son Abdul-Rahman, who was non Muslim at the time, to a duel. They didn't finish the duel, but the Muslims when from a huge victory to a defeat in that battle. -

When Mecca was conquered by Muslims led by Muhammad, and Abu Bakr. The Muslims all around the arabinan peninsula gathered up and approach Mecca. They defeated everyone in their path and open Mecca to the Islamic World. This is one of the Main events in the Islamic History, and the Muslims prey at the kabaa. -

Life as a Caliph
Abu Bakr was the first Caliph of Islam, Abu Bakr was considered a companion because he fought the Muslims who wanted to convert after Muhammed's death. Abu Bakr was a caliph for 2 years, and he also explained to the Muslims that Muhammed's a messenger of god and a human, and that everyone dies. Under his rule the Muslim conquests of Iraq and Syria began. -

Abi Bakr's death
Abu Bakr developed a high fever and was confined to bed. His illness was prolonged, and when his condition worsened, Abu Bakr felt that his end was near. Realizing this, he sent for Ali and requested him to perform his ghusl since Ali had also done it for Muhammad. He appointed Umar as the second caliph. Umar led the funeral prayer for him and he was buried next to Muhammed in Medina.
