  • learned figure skating

When I was 7 years old, I wanted to learn figure skating so my mom let me to. It was so much fun to learn new sport and I loved it. But I quitted it cause I felt dizzy when I was doing spins haha. It was important for me cause even though I didn't do skating for a long time so I can't do any techniques, but I can still skate though. It is helpful cause we sometimes go to skate when we hang out. Also I learned that figure skating was not my way haha.
  • Donation

    Donation
I started to donate for a kid in Bangladesh when I was young. It wasn't my idea cause I was young, but I chose to do it. He sent me some letters saying thank you, and I felt really good that someone is living a better life by my small help. I was busy after I started to study abroad, so I was forgetting about it. And last week, the organization sent me a letter saying that the kid doesn't need donation anymore, so they changed the kid who I'm donating for. It is so meaningful and heartwarming.
  • Met my first dog, Kong

    Met my first dog, Kong
We adopted her when she was 3 months after birth. She was really small and cute. She is Dachshund, which has long back and short legs. Her name is Kong, and it means 'bean' in Korean. she is now 6 years old. She is still so lovely though. It is an important event cause I got new family member which I love so much. I love her so much that I always think about her and miss her when I'm in Canada. I actually miss her more than my parents haha. I'll always love her until she leaves us.
  • Europe trip with my mom and brother

Europe trip with my mom and brother
I went three countries in Europe which were France, Italy, and Switzerland. It was meaningful cause it was my first trip out of Asia. I've went a lot of countries before that trip, but they were all in Asia, so I was hyped before the trip. And I had great time there! I saw the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Colosseum in Rome. But the part that I loved the most was Jungfrau in Switzerland. It is a mountain and I wen top of it. Snow was there and it was beautiful. I cannot forget about it.
  • decided to study abroad

    decided to study abroad
Actually, It wasn't me who decided to study abroad. My parents forced me to follow my older brother to an American school in Beijing. I begged them not to make me go there, and they said I could come back in a week if I don't like it, but it was not true cause they already paid for school expense. Even if it was not my decision, but I actually learned lots of things there include english and chinse. Also, I had no idea about my future, but I got some after I went there.
    She's Hannah beside me.
  • Met Hannah

    Met Hannah
I met Hannah when I was in Beijing. I wanted to get close to her when I first saw her. But it was not easy to het close to her cause we were so different from each other. But an year after I studied with her in the same school, I had many chances to talk with her and we became best friends. She was my pillar all the time when I was in Beijing cause studying abroad is always not easy :) She moved school now and I also moved school, but we are still best friends.

    relationship problem

I had a boyfriend who really bothered me after we broke up. He kept text me like crazy. I was so tried of that cause he never gave up no matter what I do. So I gave him chances but it didn't help me to date him again. Later, he said he got a mental disease because of me and I felt little bit guilty at the moment, but later when I told him I'll report him if he doesn't stop, he said it was all lie and said bad words to me. Funny thing is he texted me again after that. it became a trauma for me.
  • Got lumbar disc

    Got lumbar disc
My posture when I was standing or sitting was terrible before in Beijing, and that's the reason why I got lumbar disc. So I got some treatments back in Korea, and it got better than before. And after that, I'm trying to straighten my back. It's hard to not forget about it cause I lived with bad postures for so many years, and my postures are still not good. But I'm at least trying, and I realized that good posture is really important for my body. (the picture shows me leaning on one foot)
  • Came to GL

    Came to GL
When I was in Beijing, I realized that if I cannot go back to Korea, then I must go to Canada or US to more focus on learning English cause the school had so many Korean and Chinese students so I didn't have mush chance to learn English that natives use. So I decided to move to GL. I had great time in GL and met so many good teachers and friends include Mr. Maguire :) I learned many things and mentally grew. It was meaningful time period for me.
  • Coronavirus

    Coronavirus
Coronavirus is spreading all over the world, and it stopped us going to school and everything. One good thing for me is I could come back to my home and stay with my family ahead of schedule. Spreading of Coronavirus is obviously not a good thing, but ironically it let me go home. I've been studying abroad for about 3 years, and I couldn't spend time in Korea when it's spring. Same for my brother, and he is also in home now. Coronavirus gathered my family together. (picture - me of yesterday)
