In this letter John talks about how he served 17 months in feild service he said sometimes they had enough to eat and sometimes they didnt have enough.he said he has 11 months till his service in the army is done. -
4th letter

John starts off this letter by strangly talking in third person. he says hes in "reasonable health but not as well as usual". he had to work hard and the weather is still hot, he would love a change in climate. Chattanooga, Tennessee Hospital #1 -
