Jessica's Personality Timeline

  • The day I was born

    The day I was born
When I was born, I had a clean slate. I didn't have a personality. Since my birth, have traveled more times than an average kid should, I have done every sport imaginable, made great friends and family. I am grateful for everything I have got since my birth. This was the theory of the oral stage because I was so young I had to rely on everyone else to help me.
  • My sister was born

    My sister was born
When my sister Madison was born, I was jealous of all the attention she got. As a 3 year old, I thought I wasn't getting attention anymore because of her. Turns out, she made be a better person by learning how to share, toys, attention, food, etc. She taught me I need to be a role model for her and give her something to look up to. This applies to Raymond Cattell 16PF because I had underlying traits of jealousy that appeared when my sister was first born.
  • My first communion

    My first communion
My first communion was important because it was the first big role I played in Church. It was the main factor to involve the kids to play a role in church. It shaped me to be more faithful, and be an over thinker about decisions I make every day to make sure I am doing the right thing.
  • My first cheer practice

    My first cheer practice
At 8 years old I started All-star cheerleading. This is much different than pop-warner cheer. All-star is 100x harder. To this day, I have played every sport and cheer is by far the hardest thing I've ever done. Cheer taught me how to persevere, have a family like bond with a team, and never give up no matter how hard something gets, it will all work out by determination. This applies to identification because I realized what kind of activity I wanted to do as a child/ teenager.
  • Recieved my first dog

    Recieved my first dog
When I received my first dog JJ on Christmas, it was one of the best days of my life because I learned not only how to love animals but how to care for one too. I never knew how much you could love a dog so much until I got my own! My dog has taught me how to love, how to care, and how to be responsible.
  • The day I started dance

    The day I started dance
To this Day I still dance and love it. One of my teachers Miss Cait is the best person you could meet. So generous, kind, caring, and passionate for what she does. She teaches us everyday how to be a better person and we all love her for that. Not only is she the best dance teacher, but the best life teacher as well. She is one of my biggest personality role models. This is also identification because I realized that dance was my passion rather than cheer which I outgrew from my child stage.
  • Suprise birthday party

    Suprise birthday party
November 7th, 2015 my friends threw me a surprise party for my 15th birthday. This made me realize how lucky I am to have such great friends. It shaped my personality because it taught me that I should be grateful, happy, and satisfied with the amazing life I have, and the great friends I am so thankful for. This applies to Hans Eysenck theory of introversion because I realized I was an introvert during this because of how shy and awkward I got when the attention was all on me.
  • Disney

    Disney
Although this was definitely not my first time in Disney, this was my favorite Disney trip. While walking, I came across a Disney wedding table and realized how magical Disney was and that I would love to get married in the place that has showed me that kindness is everything. Disney formed my personality because I love traveling to new places because of the amazing experience Disney gave me. It made me humble, kind, and feel special in a place where everyone is loved.
  • Confirmation

    Confirmation
My confirmation shaped me because I realized I am an adult in church. It made me realize the mature person I became and continue to be for kids like my sister. It shaped me to persevere through obstacle's for moments that can show kids who they can look up to. My Uncle Dave was my sponsor. He taught me how to have fun, stay kind, and play sports. This applies to the superego because I realized the right thing to do was be a role model by getting confirmed.
  • Bermuda

    Bermuda
I have recently taken a cruise to Bermuda with over 40 people. 1/2 were family friends from Summerville; the other half were my cousins. This cruise was a time I hold special to me because I became so close with everyone who went and had the best week of my life. I realized these family friends were truly the people who made me the generous person I have become and I truly thank them for it. This applies to Funders law because my greatest weakness is shyness and I overcame it on this trip.
