Massacre
A horrifying day for all Indians who seeked independence, 10,000 people including women, and children gathered in the Jallianwala Bagh to peacefully protest, troops were sent and started shooting at them. (Jallianwala Bagh Massacre) -
Civil Disobedience
The Congress Party endorsed civil disobedience, British arrested thousands of Indians who had participated in strikes and demonstrations. -
Hate to Salt
Gandhi organized a demonstration to defy the hated Salt Acts since they could only buy salt from government and had to pay taxes. -
