     Early months of 1810
    Criollos were taken away like being victory which was a high position which criollos were able to have. Josefa Ortíz de Domínguez, Ignacio Allende, and Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla were all thinking about getting rid of the spaniards in order to get what they had back.
  • Sept 13, 1810

    This conspiracy was not kept a secret for so long due to a priest who found out and went on and told all the spaniards about these people's plan, once the spaniards found out they decided that it would be a good idea to arrest all of them, but were only able to arrest some. Allende got ahold of all of these rumors and went from san Miguel all the way to Dolores to tell the news to Hidalgo.

    Once Allende arrived to DOlores he was able to warn hidalgo soon causing the “Grito de Dolores” HIdalgo got ahold of his people using the power of the bell for mass and a figure of Our Lady of Guadalupe and showed them to war
  • September 28, 1810

    Spanish decided to lock themselves in Alhóndiga de Granaditas Once the battle began,but luckily José de los Reyes Martínez Amaro decided to take one for the team and carried a rock over him so he would be able to take the door that locked the spaniards down and set fire to everything in Alhóndiga.
  • October 30, 1810

    Battle of Monte de las Cruces. Led by Hidalgo y Costilla and Miguel Allende which had become allies.
  • January 1811:

    Battle of Calederón Bridge, these was another encounter between spanish Royalists and the Insurgents, but the Royalists beated the Insurgent.
  • July 31 1811

    First Hidalgo was executed by Spanish Royalist and days later Allende was also executed.
  • November 1815

    The Battle of of Temalac took place, it was in Puebla and the Insurgents lost again over the Royalists Spanish but without Allende and Hidalgo the battle had to be led by Jose Maria Morelos who was later taken and executed by the spaniards too.
  • February 24, 1821

    Agustin de Iturbide Writes the “Plan de Iguala” which said that Mexico was to be an independent country with a Roman Catholic Monarchy That he would supposedly held
  • September 1821:

    After fighting for 11 years, the independence movement was finally over, thanks to Agustin de Iturbide and the Ejército de las Tres Garantias, and Iturbide was able to become the first Emperor after taking over Mexico City
